  2025臺北馬拉松將於12月21日盛大登場,為迎接年度賽事,臺北市政府於12月20日清晨率先舉辦充滿節慶氛圍的「耶誕歡樂早餐跑」,吸引逾萬名跑者熱情參與。本次活動由臺北市政府體育局局長游竹萍出席鳴槍起跑,與市民一同迎接週末清晨,為馬拉松週末揭開序幕。

  本屆早餐跑設有9公里及3公里兩個組別,適合不同年齡層與跑步經驗的民眾參與。適逢耶誕佳節,大會以「耶誕歡樂早餐跑」為主題,現場眾多跑者頭戴耶誕帽、穿著聖誕服裝,將市民廣場妝點成一場城市耶誕嘉年華,不僅提前感受節慶氛圍,更為清晨路跑留下溫暖回憶。

  賽事邁入第3年,參與規模持續成長,今年9公里及3公里組別合計吸引10,284名跑者報名參賽,創下歷屆新高。其中,在臺深耕30週年的主要贊助商賀寶芙號召超過2,200名跑者共襄盛舉,持續透過運動推廣健康、活躍的生活理念,為隔日登場的臺北馬拉松正式賽事注入滿滿能量。

  為提升整體活動體驗,本屆早餐跑現場特別打造大型聖誕樹與早餐店拍照牆兩大主題造景,成為跑者爭相合影的熱門打卡點。高聳聖誕樹結合中、西式早餐文化意象與節慶裝飾,營造濃厚耶誕氛圍;「早餐店拍照牆」則以日常早餐文化為靈感,象徵完跑後與親友共享早餐的溫馨時刻,為活動注入濃厚的生活感與城市記憶。

  除路跑活動外,大會也規劃摸彩環節,吸引眾多跑者參與。活動現場共抽出多項獎品,包括iPhone 17 Pro、adidas Boston 13跑鞋、SHOKZ原廠運動大禮包等人氣好禮,讓跑者在清晨路跑後,也能帶回滿滿回憶,為活動畫下圓滿句點。

  臺北市政府體育局表示,歡樂早餐跑參與人數逐年成長,顯示市民對兼具趣味與親民特色的路跑活動展現高度熱情。同時為確保賽事期間安全,市府已就賽道沿線重要據點加強人力部署,並配合警察局提升巡查密度與見警率,持續維護賽事秩序,以確保參賽選手及民眾安全。臺北馬拉松將持續結合城市特色與全民參與,透過友善賽事設計與多元主題規劃,打造穩健、具國際視野的城市路跑品牌,邀請市民朋友一同以運動迎接年末時光。

2025 Taipei Marathon Christmas Breakfast Run Kicks Off with Record Participation

As the 2025 Taipei Marathon prepares to take place on December 21, the Taipei City Government kicked off the marathon weekend with the festive Christmas Breakfast Run early on the morning of December 20. The event attracted more than 10,000 runners. Yu Chu-ping, Commissioner of the Department of Sports, Taipei City Government, attended the event and fired the starting gun, joining citizens in welcoming the weekend morning and officially ushering in the Taipei Marathon festivities.

The Christmas Breakfast Run featured 9-kilometer and 3-kilometer categories, making it accessible to participants of all ages and running experience levels. Held during the Christmas season, the event embraced the theme of “Christmas Breakfast Run,” with runners donning Santa hats and holiday-themed outfits. Taipei City Hall Square was transformed into a lively urban Christmas carnival, allowing participants to soak in the festive atmosphere while creating warm and memorable moments through a cheerful morning run.

Now entering its third year, the Christmas Breakfast Run has continued to grow in scale and popularity. This year, a total of 10,284 runners registered across the two race categories, marking a record high. Herbalife, the event’s major sponsor celebrating 30 years of operations in Taiwan, mobilized more than 2,200 runners to take part, continuing to promote healthy and active lifestyles through sport while energizing participants ahead of the official Taipei Marathon races the following day.

To further enhance the overall event experience, the organizers introduced two themed installations: a large Christmas tree and a breakfast shop–inspired photo wall, both of which became popular photo spots among runners. The towering Christmas tree blended festive decorations with imagery drawn from both Western and Taiwanese breakfast culture, creating a vibrant holiday atmosphere. Meanwhile, the breakfast shop photo wall was inspired by everyday breakfast traditions, symbolizing the warm moments of sharing a meal with family and friends after completing the run, and adding a strong sense of daily life and urban memory to the event.

In addition to the races, a lucky draw was held on-site, drawing enthusiastic participation from runners. A variety of prizes were awarded, including an iPhone 17 Pro, adidas Boston 13, and SHOKZ official sports gift packages, allowing participants to take home not only a sense of accomplishment but also joyful memories—bringing the event to a satisfying and festive conclusion.

The Department of Sports, Taipei City Government, noted that the steadily increasing participation in the Christmas Breakfast Run reflects strong public enthusiasm for road running events that combine fun, accessibility, and ceremonial elements. To ensure safety during the marathon weekend, the Taipei City Government has strengthened personnel deployment at key points along the race routes, while coordinating with the Police Department to enhance patrol frequency and visibility, maintaining order and ensuring the safety of both runners and the public.

Looking ahead, the Taipei Marathon will continue to integrate the city’s unique character with broad public participation through runner-friendly event design and diverse thematic planning, building a stable, internationally oriented urban running brand and inviting citizens to welcome the year’s end through sport and shared celebration.
